Ken has been employed as a law enforcement officer in the Syracuse area since 1989. During that time, he has served in many capacities to include; Community Services Officer, Deputy Sheriff, and Police Officer. Ken has instructed at multiple police academies and teaches in service training throughout the year for multiple police agencies in Central New York. Ken has been instructing new and advanced shooters since 2006.

James graduated high school and served 6 years in The United States Marine Corps.  After leaving the Marines he worked for Rural Metro Medical Services for 17 years as a Senior Paramedic and Field Training Officer.  He eventually left and become the director of Mercy Flight Central.  James started his law enforcement career in 2005 as a part time officer.  In 2007 He was hired on full time at a local police agency and has risen through the ranks and was promoted to Sergeant in 2014.  He has since been the training coordinator at that agency.   In 2017 James Graduated Cum laude from Columbia College of Missouri with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice.
